StuCo Social 10/11 - Tickets on sale 10/9 During Lunch

The Fall Stuco Social will be held next Friday, October 11, from 3:00-5:00

Activities include: Movie and Board Games in the commons, Beach Volleyball in the main gym, and dancing in the small gym. The concession stand will be open. Tickets go on sale for $5.00 next Wednesday during lunch. We hope to see you there.

EMS Parents/Guardians,

It is hard to believe that it is time to schedule conferences! Conferences will be a little different this year and will be from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on October 16th and 17th. We will open conference scheduling through Skyward Family Access tomorrow at approximately 4:00pm. Parents/guardians will sign up for 10-minute time slots with each teacher you wish to see. Each scheduled conference will be with that individual teacher so please be sure that you do not schedule more than one conference during a time slot.

Step-By-Step Parent/Guardian Instructions:

1. Use a computer, not a smartphone

2. Use your parent login for Skyward (If you do not have it bookmarked, go to www.goddardusd.com and click the Skyward Family Access link.)

3. If you have more than one child, select a child’s name from the ‘All Students’ drop down at the top

4. Click the ‘Conferences’ link on the left of the screen

5. Click the link titled ‘All Conferences’

6. Click the ‘Select a Time’ under the class you would like to schedule

7. Find a date and time that works for you and click on the ‘Select’ link to the right (NOTE: If the ‘Select’ button doesn’t work, try a different web browser like Google Chrome)

8. Click ‘Save’ to confirm that date and time -- Your conference for that class is now scheduled!

9. Repeat steps 6-8 to schedule appointments for additional conferences.

The link to schedule through family access will go live on Tuesday, October 1st at approximately 400 p.m.. We look forward to seeing you during conferences on October 16th-17th.

The Book Fair Is Near!

You can help the EMS library buy more books from the book fair!

The scholastic Book Fair is coming soon!

The Book Fair will be set up in the library October 14th-17th.

Starting next week you can take a chance with the “Giving Tree”.

For a $1.00 donation you can pull a sucker from the “Giving Tree” to win a delicious sucker and additional prizes.

The “Giving Tree” will be in the library October 7th to October 17th .
