We are beginning to plan our first semester Family Night. The family event will include fun activities provided by school staff. Family events we have done in the past include a Campfire theme, Bug Out, Read Night-Sleep Tight, Super Heroes, and Sharks! For this year’s activity we will partner with Exploration Place for a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) night. If you would like to make a donation to help support this event and/or volunteer to help with the event, please contact Mrs Hay at mhay@goddardusd.com.
PTO (Parent/Teacher Organization) is already busy this year. PTO sponsored Popsicles in the Park and are partnering with the GEF (Goddard Education Foundation) for Ticket-To-Ride Raffle Campaign. Follow the link to learn more.
We are looking for parents and community members that are interested in being a part of our building SITE Council. SITE Council is an opportunity for parents, staff, district leadership and community members to discuss educational and district topics. At our first meeting we will talk about a potential bond proposal and the future of Goddard Schools. We will be meeting on September 30th, from 9:00-10:00 am, at Explorer Elementary School.
