We are off to an amazing start at Amelia Earhart!  Thank you for your support for our students and school. We encourage you to volunteer and be an active part of your child’s education.  Here are some ways you can help:

  • We are beginning to plan our first semester Family Night. The family event will include fun activities provided by school staff.  Family events we have done in the past include a Campfire theme, Bug Out, Read Night-Sleep Tight, Super Heroes, and Sharks! For this year’s activity we will partner with Exploration Place for a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) night. If you would like to make a donation to help support this event and/or volunteer to help with the event, please contact Mrs Hay at mhay@goddardusd.com.

  • PTO (Parent/Teacher Organization) is already busy this year.  PTO sponsored Popsicles in the Park and are partnering with the GEF (Goddard Education Foundation) for Ticket-To-Ride Raffle Campaign.  Follow the link to learn more.

We are looking for parents and community members that are interested in being a part of our building SITE Council. SITE Council is an opportunity for parents, staff, district leadership and community members to discuss educational and district topics. At our first meeting we will talk about a potential bond proposal and the future of Goddard Schools.  We will be meeting on September 30th, from 9:00-10:00 am, at Explorer Elementary School.  Please email Mrs. Hay if you are interested in attending.

Bandage Banter with Nurse Kenzie

Welcome back to another wonderful year at Earhart! Just a reminder that as we get back into the swing of school and sharing small spaces the germs will also be hitting us in full force. Please talk with your kids about washing hands/ sneezing into elbows and drinking lots of water. Also remember the 24 hour rule for fever/vomiting and diarrhea. Please do not send your kids to school any sooner so we can keep those germs at bay. Please contact me for any questions/concerns.

A message from the office

Please continue to contact the office if your student will be late or absent. With school in full force, please do not forget to bring in your phones when dropping your student off, picking your student up, and visiting! The use of the QR codes helps keep our students and visitors information private and safe. Please be sure to contact the office and your students' teachers with any transportation updates. Make sure to follow us on Facebook to see photos and events going around the building!
