Greetings Earhart Families:
So many great things are happening in our building in 2025! The February character trait of the month is Kindness/Honesty. We will have Valentine’ Day parties on February 14th at 2:45 pm. We will be sending a link soon to sign up if you are attending parties. We end the month with conferences on February 26th and 27th. You can start signing up for conferences on February 3rd.
Kindness changes things. How can we make kindness a part of our lives everyday? What are the different ways you can show kindness? Some examples are:
Write someone a thank you note.
Pick up litter.
Compliment a friend.
Bake a treat and deliver it to your neighbors.
Talk to someone new.
Smile at everyone you see.
Cook or help cook dinner tonight.
Read a book to someone.

Attendance in school is so important. Missing just two days a month adds up to 18 days a school year-which is like missing a whole month of school. Did you know that, starting in preschool and kindergarten, too many absences can cause children to fall behind in school. Missing 10%, or about 2 days each month over the course of a school year, can make it harder to learn to read.
